The Society of Social Psychiatry P.Sakellaropoulos is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, founded in 1981, having its roots in 1964, to provide quality mental health services. The Company works with the population to raise awareness of mental health issues and promotes the prevention, timely intervention, social inclusion and employment of people with mental health problems, strengthening respect for their human condition and equality as citizens.

Get to know the speakers

Eleftheria Lampropoulou

Psychologist at the non-profit private legal organization Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos since 2007. She received her Master s Degree in “Social and Clinical Psychology” from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Psychology Department. She has Long-term experience as a clinician in the Mobile Mental Health Unit of Thrace region, working with people with severe mental health problems, and also providing psychosocial care/rehabilitation of people with previous long-term institutionalization. Experience in developing and providing community awareness and prevention actions. Education of graduate, postgraduate students and mental health professionals.

Iliana Lazogiorgou

Psychologist at the Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos since 2004. She received her master’s degree in “Psychology of Child Development” from the University of Central Lancashire Department of Social Sciences. She has long-term experience as a clinician in the Mobile Mental Health Unit providing therapy to people with severe mental health problems, dealing with people in crisis, and giving psychiatric care at home. Developing and providing therapeutic plans, and psychosocial care/rehabilitation of people with previous long-term institutionalization. Experience in developing, providing and supervising programmes for young adults with mental retardation

Ioanna Kallia

A mental health worker in the Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos.  Mental health care services professional, skilled in social psychology. Part of the Mobile Mental Health Unit multidisciplinary team in Fokida. Skilled in communication, teamwork, decision making and coordination of community awareness and prevention actions. Strong skilled in psychosocial intervention programs coordination. Certified adult trainer.
