Invitation from our partners: International Conference on Recovery and Community Mental Health | Prague, 20–22 May 2026

Our partners from the CARe Network for Recovery and Social Inclusion warmly invite members of the EUCOMS community to take part in an international conference on recovery and community mental health, taking place from 20 to 22 May 2026 in Prague.

This three-day conference will focus on how mental health services can genuinely support recovery, not only by addressing symptoms, but by strengthening social participation, community life, and personal meaning. The programme brings together professionals, peer workers, researchers, and educators who are actively shaping recovery-oriented practice across Europe.

One of the keynote speakers will be Mike Slade, Professor of Mental Health Recovery and Social Inclusion at the University of Nottingham. He will share insights from years of research on how mental health services can transform to better support both personal and social recovery.

Participants will also be introduced to the outcomes of a three-year European project that developed educational modules for professionals and peer workers, focused on the principles and methods of recovery-oriented care.

Thanks to support from the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, participation in the conference is free of charge, although places are limited.

We are pleased to share this invitation from our partners and encourage EUCOMS members and friends to explore this opportunity to learn, connect, and exchange experiences in Prague.
